In the previous post, I wrote about Paradise Harbour being my favourite place on Earth. However, that’s very weather depending. As you could see in the pictures in that post, it was quite grey and overcast day. The next day we were in another area, near Goudier Island. The weather had changed to blue skies with some clouds. Suddenly the high mountains of Anvers Island were visible, towering over the Gentoo Penguin colonies of Jougla Point.

In this weather, this place is a lot more beautiful as Paradise is in the weather we had the day before… So maybe the conclusion should be that most of the Antarctic Peninsula is stunning, but that the beauty is depending on the weather…
