Open ocean

One thing that characterises the Atlantic Odyssey best is the open ocean. Two thirds of the time we spent sailing through the Southern and Atlantic Ocean in between islands. Those days are beautiful; they have a specific calm. But still, it’s well worth being outside, looking out over the endless ocean. Sometimes there is only water, sometimes a bird flies past or a marine mammal swims by.

And sometimes … the light can be gorgeous, and it’s just enough to sit on the top deck and enjoy.
