Waving

A big cigar with a small head: the description we often use when we explain what to look for in a Bearded Seal. When you come closer, the extensive beard, or actually moustache, shows. They are often very little shy for zodiacs or ships and often we can approach to a close distance. 20190619_Arjen_Drost_0142This seal was really relaxed and barely looked at us. At one moment, he started scratching its head with its flipper, giving me the opportunity to take a few nice pictures.
