With the current COVID-restrictions in the Netherlands, we have to be home at 22:00. Sunset is (well, was this evening) around 20:30, so that still gave us enough time to spent both the golden and the blue hour at a nature reserve nearby. We had some intel on the occurrence of Beavers, which would be great to see, so this became our target. When we arrived on site, we immediately found some Beaver tracks on some trees and branches, so that looked promising.

Well, to cut a long story short, no animals showed up. However, we still had a great evening! There were still many Barnacle Geese in the area and the started to fly up and down a bit (probably disturbed by a plane, or by one of the two White-tailed Eagles in the area). This resulted in some really nice photo opportunities, especially with the red and orange skies where the sun just had set.

Oh, and what about the curfew? Well, it all took a little longer as expected and I opened my front door at 21:58 sharp… 😀
